Well, the prophecy "Fire alone can save our Clan" Translates tooo.... A cat will come with a pelt of fire...Firepaw. He will repeatedly save the CLan as he lives in it, despite his kittypet roots, proving his loyalty over and over. Yeah, it did. . . anyway, what I've read is that ThunderClan is in a state of peril and uncertainty, and in this period, Bluestar, then Bluekit, is born. The prophecy states that Bluestar will be as strong as fire and destined to blaze through the ranks of her Clan. With the prophecy, however, comes the shadow of her destruction by an enemy she can't outrun. Then, of course, all her secrets threaten to surface, so she's in danger as well as her Clan.
