Physical contamination of food would be foreign objects like glass or metal fragments or stones. It would generally be something that would not be part of the food.

For example, a cherry pit in cherry pie filling would not be physical contamination since cherry pits are part of a cherry. Bones in chicken or fish would not be contamination since bones are a natural part of vertebrates.
