Did i pay too much?
nothing
a 250 dinar bill costs about 21cents. if you need proof go to xe.com
They are selling on ebay right now for $3.50 shipped. The bills are worthless. Put it in your collection and save it. It is not a bill that is ever going to be worth any real money. Case in point, see related link.
The 2002 10,000 Iraqi Dinar note in mint uncirculated condition is worth $7 to a collector. In normal used condition it is worthless.
Nothing in USD. The Dinar is extremely inflated. It takes 1,148.78 Dinar to equal one United States Dollar.

No, but I bet people in Serbia would give you a lot more 2009 dinars for any 1966 dinar bill.
10,000 IQD = $8.58 USD as of May 3, 2012.
At today's current rates a 5,000 dinar would be worth 4.27131 USaHowever exchange rates change every day so any answer posted here would be out of date within 24 hours. While it's not normal WikiAnswers policy to say "use the Internet", that's the best approach in this case. You can check a site such as www.xe.com, CNNMoney, etc. for the latest conversion factors.
