Another term to describe a Dictatorship could include one of the following

  1. Despotism (where one person holds absolute authority)
  2. Authoritarianism (where the governments power is absolute)
  3. Fascism (Where one party holds power over the government, police, media, economy, foreign affairs, legal institutions and the military/ armed forces)
  4. Nazism (same as Fascism only the Party follows a racist attitude to one minority/nationality)
  5. Communism (a form of society, economy and government wherein everyhing belongs to the Communist Party. They will tell you that they share everything for an equal society, but the only thing people share i misery and poverty)
  6. One could consider a nation ruled by a Monarchy i.e. Kings, Queens etc. as a dictatorship.
  7. China.
