If you're referring to firearms, magnum basically just means large. It's a designation for certain calibers. A .357 magnum is, basically, a .38 with a longer casing and more powder. A .44 magnum is, basically, a .44 special with a longer casing and more powder.
No, it does not.
If has the magnum cylinder it will.
That is a shell with a larger powder capacity based on a previously existing shell. Example: Modern .22s come in short, long rifle, and magnum. The magnum is a bit longer than the long rifle and contains a few grains more powder for higher velocity.
Winchester stopped the regular production of 20 gauge in 1963 and the 20 gauge magnum shell wasn't introduced for several years later.
Remington 870 Express Super Magnum.
If it indicates that it will accept a 3 inch shell, it is a magnum. If it is marked 2 3/4 inches, it is not. Unmarked- not.
The .44 Magnum uses the standard Large Pistol primer.

The yolk of the egg is the first to form. After being released from the follicle, the yolk enters the hen's abdominal cavity. The infundibulum of the oviduct surrounds the yolk with its thin, funnel-like lips. The yolk then enters the magnum section of the oviduct where the dense portion of the albumen (egg white) is added. The magnum of the oviduct is divided from the isthmus by a narrow, translucent ring. The isthmus is smaller in diameter than the magnum. It is here that the two shell membranes fully form. The shell membranes contain the yolk and albumen until the rest of the albumen is added in the uterus. The shell is also added in the uterus or shell gland portion of the oviduct.
no, because the shell length of the 44 magnum is to short to properly function in a 444 marlin. I have a friend who tried it and, it didn't blow up but it actually scratched the barrel because it didn't line up properly.
well it depends on if its a 3 inch shell if its a 3 inch shell you might not be able to fit 3 in it unless you have cut the plug shorter
A .22 magnum round is a rimfire cartridge,Today. The first .22 magnum was a centerfire. it is very hard if not impossible to buy new centerfire rifels, however the shells are still plentiful. I think a much more accurate shell ,at least for me than the rimfire. my father had a centerfire .22 magnum rifle lever action, with the magazine running along the barrel. if anyone has one I am looking for one. my brother got my dads.
