known as cache, it is embedded in the CPU on all modern chips (CPU's).

the CPU RAM, or Cache, is a small amount (less than 50Kb) of very high speed ram.

L1 and L2 cache is embedded in new CPU's so that the CPU can work out multiple parts of code, so that less fetch-process-verify-send procedures are made with the system ram, of which holds the whole program.
