Visa credit cards, like all major cards, have 16 digits and are in 4 groups of 4. For example, one card number could be "1111 2222 3333 4444". Visa cards also have a 3 digit security code, which is on the back of the card, sometimes called a CSC. For example, the above card could have "555" as the CSC.
For obvious security reasons, no real credit card number should ever be given out because that could allow anyone with the number to make unauthorized purchases, though the cardholders name would also have to be known.

It is important to keep one's Visa credit card number secure to avoid theft. One can somewhat easily use another persons Visa card number without having possession of the physical card.
