Visa cards also have a 3 digit security code, which is on the back of the card, sometimes called a CSC. For example, the above card could have "555" as the CSC.
For obvious security reasons, no real credit card number should ever be given out because that could allow anyone with the number to make unauthorized purchases, though the cardholders name would also have to be known.
