The term GM foods or GMOs (genetically-modified organisms) is most commonly used to refer to crop plants created for human or animal consumption using the latest molecular Biology techniques. These plants have been modified in the laboratory to enhance desired traits such as increased resistance to herbicides or improved nutritional content. The enhancement of desired traits has traditionally been undertaken through breeding, but conventional plant breeding methods can be very time consuming and are often not very accurate. Genetic engineering, on the other hand, can create plants with the exact desired trait very rapidly and with great accuracy.

see, if you had to make food with your hands, you will be sick. technology seals foods and prepares them better than man.For instence, ever had a bk burger. bakk.

Processed food is on the carpet now. Too much fat, sugar, salt, fillers, etc. Even the taste is engineered to make you want more than you need. We have a nation of the grossly overweight. Enough food to feed many of our nation and other nations starving to death.

The food industry is a complex, global collective of diversebusinesses that together supply much of the food energyconsumed by the world population. Only subsistence farmers, those who survive on what they grow, can be considered outside of the scope of the modern food industry. Sophisticated technologies define modern food production. They include many areas. Agricultural machinery, originally led by the tractor, has practically eliminated human labor in many areas of production. Biotechnology is driving much change, in areas as diverse as agrochemicals, plant breeding and food processing. Many other areas of technology are also involved, to the point where it is hard to find an area that does not have a direct impact on the food industry. Computer technology is also a central force, with computer networks and specialized software providing the support infrastructure to allow global movement of the myriad components involved.

My Opinion v v v

Because they are not going to stand up there and make every single thing themselves. They build machines, which involves technology, and makes the process go much faster. Also, things they can't do they probably get those machines to do. Besides this, there are many reasons of course. but this is just my opinion.
