On May 1, 2011, it was announced that the terrorist leader, Osama bin Laden, was killed in his home. He was located in a huge compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, 30 km North Eas…t of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The US military took custody of the body of the 911 attack's mastermind and later buried it at sea, in order to respect the Muslim religion customs of burial of the dead within 24 hours of death. It is unclear at what point bin Laden left the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan where the Taliban took refuge after their defeat. Attacks were made there on Al Qaeda suspects both during and after the US war.

Hemosiderin is an iron-containing pigment derived in humans from ferritin. It can be found in macrophages in small amounts throughout a number of different tissues including t…he bone marrow, liver and the spleen as a normal way to store iron. Under certain conditions it can pathologically accumulate in excess amounts. In hemosiderosis macrophages are hemosiderin-laden but without associated damage to surrounding tissue. When there more extensive accumulation occurs, it can lead to surrounding tissue damage, scarring and organ dysfunction. This is called hemochromatosis.
answer:A calorie is a unit of measure used to describe the energy in food. It is defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of 1kg of water 1 degree C…elsius at 1 atmosphere pressure, or 4.184 Joules. Another Answer A calorie is an obsolescent unit of measurement (cgsA system) used to measure energy; it is not simply used to measure the energy available in food, as implied by the original answer. It was defined as the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius at standard atmospheric pressure. The original answer is not describing a calorie, but a kilocalorie which is 1000 calories.

A calorie ('c') is a unit of measurement of the energy contained in food. One Calorie ('C', not to be confused with '°C' as in 'degrees Celsius') is equal to 1kcal, or 1,000 …calories (or 4,184 joules). One calorie (1c, or 0.001kcal) ) is the amount of energy it takes to heat 1g of water by one degree Celsius (or by one degree Kelvin,°K); more specifically, from 14.5 °C to 15.5 °C (or 287.65 °K to 288.65 °K) as the thermal capacity of water is dependent upon temperature. Daily minimum energy requirements vary from person to person depending upon their sex, build, age, and level of physical activity. On average, the recommended daily intake for men is 2,500-3,300kcal per day, and for women, 1,500-2,500 per day. Most of that energy is required just to function (ie- heart beat, maintaining body temperature, etc.); this is referred to as your Basal Metabolic Rate. Failing to consume the required energy to cover your BMR plus any physical activity you participate in, will result in the increased consumption of energy stores in the body, leading to weight loss. Consuming more calories than you require will lead to weight gain as the body stores energy for later use in the form of fat. Continually failing to supply energy requirements will eventually lead to starvation. Once the body runs out of energy stores, it moves on to the muscles, bones, and ultimately, the internal organs, fighting to supply the required energy to keep you alive. Extreme or continual starvation will lead eventually to death.
