Cool and wet most of the year, though it can get pretty hot during the summer (up around 30 degrees celsius on a warm day) and quite a bit below freezing in the winter. A lot like England, for comparison.
Because of its relatively high latitude and location near water, Copenhagen tends to have a cloudy, cool, and wet climate, however summer days can be quite pleasant with temperatures seldom exceeding the upper 70s(F). Some rain falls on nearly half the days in every month. The marine influence prevents extreme cold in the winter, with low temperatures around freezing. The record high temperature (as of 1984) was 91F, and the record low -12F. Also due to the high latitude, the number of hours of sun (in clear sky) in the winter is quite low, averaging 2 hours a day.
