In automotive engineering, an exhaust manifold collects the exhaust gases from multiple cylinders into one pipe. The word manifold comes from the Old English word manigfeald and feald and refers to the folding together of multiple inputs and outputs.
Hope this helped.
Oxygen sensor is located at the exhuast Manifold.
manifold to head bolts 32 ftlbs
Under the driverside exhuast manifold, good luck its a tight spot
off the driver side exhuast manifold
my exhuast is broke jb weld will hold to 600 degrees so will the exhaust get to hot
It's located near the outlet of the exhuast manifold where it attaches to the catalytic converter.
i have no idea what type of motor that the troope even has but your exhuast manifold is gonna be under the hood and the very starting point of your exhaust(the part that touches the motor and gets real hot real quick)
i am thinking there is 4 one at the exhuast manifold, one before the converter one after and one inline. some have only 2 one after the manifold and in line.. v6 and v8 may have 2 af the exhuast collectors and 2 before the catalytic converter 2 after the catalytic converter and one inline. all depends one the engine and where it was built and if it is a cali van or not..
Best to purchase either a chilton or haynes manual for your vehicle available online or major auto parts stores.
check under the passenger side of the engine. unless it's a front wheel drive then it's in the front of the vehicle under the exhuast manifold...
It is on the exhaust manifold. It is on the same part on all vehicles. The only difference is on newer models cars it may have two oxygen sensors one on the exhaust manifold and one at the catalytic convertor. You will have just ONE on the exhuast manifold.
that would be a sign of piston rings not sealing. do a cylinder compression test, if one or more is more than 10% different from the others then that's your problem
