A binomial experiment is a experiment that consists of repeated trails, with two possible outcomes. An example of this would be a coin toss.Ê
Experiment is some things scientist does based on the facts and available knowledge to answer a particular research question. They observe the results and infer their conclusion based on that. For example if you want to say compound A is causing a change in cell cycle, they treat cells with the compund A and another set of same cells with no compound and one another with compound B that may have no effect on them. Only if they see the changes in cell cycle by compound A and not by the mock or negative control they conclude that it has an effect on cell cycle!
something done in science like with test tubes an things like that
An experiment in Biology is a procedure that is done to prove a hypothesis or make a determination.

Here is a helpful website that has a great example of a controlled experiment: http://scienceray.com/physics/controlled-experiment-example/?237567#comment-237567&reload
bihhhhhh
An experiment is an example of an exercise.
A hypothesis is a guess about what will happen in an experiment. For example, "If I burn these cloths, then cotton will burn fastest."
An experiment has to have a varible, if it doesn't that it's probably and engineering experiment or robotics. I think its called a "control"

a solution example is ... you will be doing a experiment and you would try to make a solution work to make the experiment successful

There are many characteristics present during a good experiment. For example, if the experiment provides unbiased estimates for uncertainties and factor effects then the experiment should be considered good.
