This is simply the French spelling for Pyramid- you know the four-sided triangular monuments of ancient Egypt. I had six years of French and never saw this spelling. The Pyramids did figure in the Napoleonic wars- which also saw the discovery and eventual decoding of the Rosetta stone- a landmark in Archaeology and cryptography in the past tense.
It is in the Musee du Louvre in Paris, France.

"At the Louvre's exit" is an English equivalent of the French phrase à la sortie du Louvre. The prepositional phrase literally translates as "at the exit of the Louvre" in English. The pronunciation will be "a la sor-tee dyoo loov" in northerly French and "a la sor-tee dyoo loo-vruh" in southerly French.
le musée du Louvre (the most visited museum in the world) le musée d'Orsay (specializes in Impressionists) le musée Carnavalet (French history around the Revolution) le musée des Arts Décoratifs (art from the 1920s 1930s) etc...
The pyramid was commissioned in 1984 by the President of France at the time, Francois Mitterand.
" du " is used instead of " de le ". This is for words (all of them masculine) that are that are usually preceded by " le ", like " le Louvre ", " le Mans ": je viens du Mans - J'ai vu les statues du Louvre (I come from le Mans - I've seen the statues from Le Louvre). Same for " New Jersey " (in French, " le New Jersey "). Doesn't work for Cannes or New York, proper nouns which never uses a definite article. When the definite article for a word is " la " (all feminine words) or the shortened l + apostrophe, you use " de la " or " de l' " without replacing them by " du ":J'ai de l'argent (I have money) - J'ai mangé de la confiture (I ate jam)

== == Disneyland Paris is served by the RER Marne La Vallee Chessy station. One needs to use the RER-Line A. The nearest RER station to the Louvre where one can board RER-Line A is the Châtelet - Les Halles (Paris RER station). The Louvre is about 1.5km (one mile) to the Châtelet - Les Halles (RER station). One can walk. If one wants to use the metro, then go to the Palais Royal/Louvre metro station; take either Line 1 or Line 7; go to/get off at the Chatelet metro station, and board the RER-Line A to Marne La Vallee Chessy.
