I know sure if this is the same thing, but I took a babysitting certification class. It's not really a license and it's not required, it just helps to get you jobs! I got mine at Eastridge rec center =) I just signed up for a class and by the end of it I was a licensed babysitter through the American Red Cross! I think it was like three days of classes so not too bad. I'm sure you could even find an online class now (I did it in 2001). I learned CPR, first aid, and just basic sitting tips. Hope that helps!

Because of the way labor laws are, companies generally don't hire teens to do babysitting for them. Your teen will need to apprach potential clients informally.

Sorry, please be more specific. Are you asking if a Mexico-based business doing work in Colorado has to comply with the local labor laws of Colorado? Yes, it does. If you're asking if a Colorado native (U.S. Citizen) doing work in Mexico is dealt with labor laws from Colorado or Mexico, well, typically, local laws prevail. Did that help?
Laws on private sale on a vehicle with mechanical problems
Greetings Folks, I'm a mom whose reviewing babysitting laws because my own daughter has reached babysitting age. From what I can tell you do not need a license to babysit your own flesh and blood. If however you are professionally babysitting other people's children, that is to say, running a daycare, then you do need a license. Anne
