There is also the octave-mandolin which is tuned exactly the same as a mandolin, just and octave lower.
There is also, arguable, the Irish Bouzouki which is derived from a greek bouzuki as a pose to the lute (which the other mandolins are derived from). However, it has a flat back and is tuned in fifths so many now see it as another branch of the mandolin family.
