Communism is not a culture. It is a system of social and political control over a unit that is the near opposite of 'capitalism.'

Countries that practice(d) Communism believe(d): everyone should be equal, government should own all aspects of the economy, intelligent people should not have the opportunity to make more than the average Joe, and that all conflicts end in violence. In order to avoid violence, Karl Marx (primary contributer to the movement) believed that society must be controlled.
