Natural rubber, also called India rubber or caoutchouc, is an elastomer (an elastic hydrocarbon polymer) that was originally derived from latex, a milky colloid produced by some plants. The plants would be 'tapped', that is, an incision made into the bark of the tree and the latex sap collected and refined into a usable rubber. The purified form of natural rubber is the chemical polyisoprene, which can also be produced synthetically. Natural rubber is used extensively in many applications and products, as is synthetic rubber.

∙ 13y agothis is a badly worded question. By pure do you mean "formed of one type of molecule"? And what do you mean by plastic? there are many different types. some have multiple types of hydrocarbon chains, some have a single type of molecule. Also nothing is 100% without contamination so there will always be some "impurities" in a sheet of plastic.

∙ 10y agoraw rubber can not be used for product application because it is highly viscous,loses its strength with increase in temperature,requires solvent for application or requires mastication for lowering viscosity and finally it is highly sticks.it is called raw rubber.
