Sweden's annual rainfall is about 535 mm or 21 inches. Rainfall is heaviest in the southwest and in the mountains along the Norwegian border. Most of the rain is received in the late summer.

In the winter it's average between -1° and -20°

and in the summer between 30° and 15° Celsius.

As early as October for the northern parts and then November-January the farther South you get. Snow melts around March for the middle and southern of Sweden and May for the North.
