My point of view in a short statement : It's about living in peace , loving our Father with our heart soul and mind and praising Jesus for giving us victory over flesh and the the principalities of darkness. Excepting eternal life in peace with Our (ABBA) Father and Jesus sitting at His right side and all the heavenly host.
Christianity is when you believe that God loved you enough to die on the cross to die for our sins, an thenloved us enough to rise again, and if we believe, God promises us a eternal home in Heaven. In a simply, summary word: Love.

We are commanded to Love God completely and then to Love our fellow man just like Jesus love each and everyone of us.

Answer:

Christianity is about relationship not religion. A Christian is someone who has entered a new relationship with God.

The Bible says everybody is born spiritually dead. Another way of saying this is people don't have a relationship with/know God. This is because the first man and woman did not obey God and so their relationship with God - the creator and sustainer of life - was broken. This is sin. Throughout the history of mankind - as told in the Bible - the way for a person to restore their relationship with God is to acknowledge their relationship with God is broken and to offer a sacrifice.

In the early history of mankind this is what people did. God chose the nation of Israel to be His representatives on earth. Israel was supposed to show the other nations what a relationship with God is like. But Israel turned from God and His ways and followed other gods.

So God came to earth as a man - Jesus - and died as the 'lamb of God', a sacrifice for the sin of all who believe. If a person believes this, the Bible says God forgives the person and that person gives them eternal life.

1John 5:11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

1Johnn 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

This eternal life is a free gift. To receive it you only have to believe Jesus is the saviour of the world.

There are other blessings from accepting Jesus Christ as saviour for example the Christian is adopted into God's family

There is no "born again Christian religion". A Christian is considered born again when they are baptized (or confirmed for the Catholics) and reaffirm their faith in Jesus (usually being born again is after having a crisis of faith).

Every Christian sect pretty much sets its own guidelines for what a "true" Christian is and does. The difference between these sects is so extreme that some have engaged in centuries long rivalries and body conflicts. Basic tenets such as the divinity of Jesus, the multi part aspects of god and the the role of Mary are major differences but differences on social issues (abortion, drinking, gay marriage, ecumenism, Birth Control, child baptism, participation in the military, blood transfusions, etc.) are common. As a consequence Christianity is about self branding and following the personal definition of that position.
