the biggest role was only of the educated third estate people(middle class) as they knew what things were happening against them. They had to pay taxes unlike the 1 & 2 estate. And they had formed th National Assembly of France which made the future developments in France.

There was NO middle class ( this is a modern idea). You were either very rich and fat or very poor and thin. Nothing in the middle. The rich had it all and the poor wanted some of it too. People were starving, so they did what people do to get some of the goodies they had a revolution.
