Wal-mart is the largest provider of groceries in the world. Wal-mart at the time of this posting has 3,500 stores in the USA and another 1,290 stores outside of the USA, all of these stores have at least some dry groceries and many are "supercenters" which have full perishable departments and complete grocery stores.
Kroger is the biggest grocery store in the us!! Wal-mart just has a lot of stupid and very cheep custmers that should move to china if that's all they would like to support!If you are looking for the largest in square feet. It is Woodmans of Kenosha.

∙ 13y agoI don't know which is the best grocery store but, here are some grocery stores out there:Safeway Food & Drug, Von's, Raley's, Nob Hill Foods, Albertson's, Lucky Supermarkets, Save-Mart, S-Mart Foods, FoodMaxx, Grocery Outlet, Winco Foods, Costco Wholesale, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Ranch 99 Market (Chinese Supermarket). There may be more not listed but, that's what i came up with!

It depends on if they use Chex Systems to validate the check or not- not everyone does cause it costs them money. We have a local grocery store that does not use them and we can write a check there. It's not a mom and pop store either, it's a local chain of 8 grocery stores. I also know the Ace by us doesn't use them either.
