The "Money Ladder" mini-game is a promotional mini-game for the 22nd Island of Poptropica, "Game Show Island." The mini-game began in late September, 2011, prior to the release of the island in December, 2011.
It is a simple quiz game based on the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire TV game show. You will be asked 12 questions, each one of slightly greater difficulty, and you must answer all 12 correctly to win the game and the $1,000,000 prize (and Poptropica rewards).
Playing the Game
For each question, you have about 15 seconds to answer by pressing one of the 4 answers.
- If you know the answer, press it, and the host will ask you if this is your final answer, and you say "Yes."
- If you don't know, you can press any one, then search for the answer. When asked if it is your final answer, say "No." But once you do, the clock will immediately start to run again! You only have whatever time you had left on the clock -- if it reaches zero, your time is up and you lose.
There are 3 rewards for winning the game : the Robot Dance move, a Robot Costume, and the Binary Rain special effect.
