1. Simple as that. Without init the system would kernal panic due to how important init is.
Note: if i am wrong, feel free to correct me
PID 1 on a Unix or Unix-like system is init. You cannot kill init.
zombie processes are inherited by the 'init' process (PID 1)
No, every process gets its own PID. Otherwise, all PIDs would be the same, since every process is a child of some other process, all the way back to the init process (PID 1). The fork() system call will return the PID of the child to the parent, and will return 0 to the child. The child can find out its own PID with getpid(), and its parent PID with getppid().
They are usually assigned/attached to the 'init' process (PID 1). For the most part, zombies can only be removed by rebooting the system.
0 is used as a Valid Process identifier. It is used as the PPID for /etc/init that starts everything on the server. The PPID Is the Parent Process Identifier. The Parent Process is Process 0, or the System Startup Process. All processes spawn from this PPID. PID 1 is /etc/init which starts up everything else.
Males can't get PID.Men won't get PID.
PID CAN CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS IM SORRY TO ANYONE WHO HAS PID!!!!!PID CAN CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS IM SORRY TO ANYONE WHO HAS PID!!!!!
You will not die from PID.
PID damage is not curable; the bacteria that caused PID can be treated.Antibiotics will be prescribed for the bacteria that caused the PID, but the damage can't be reversed. The damages of PID can't be reversed.Antibiotics will be prescribed for the bacteria that caused the PID, but damage can't be reversed.
