Workers Compensation payments for disability are based on a formula that is determined by your physician and the WC Board. It is pretty much set based on your level which is also set. For this reason, you generally waste money with attorneys unless you need help with the process. The attorney can assist you through everything but will probably not get you any more money if you have a legitimate injury.

What is the average cost of a cervical herniated discectomy in the US?

When dealing with a lumbar surgery there is nothing cheap about it.If you have good insurance will cover most of the cost, but you will still end up paying out around $25,000.When looking at the long run, some people pay more for a car.Remember your back is the the base of a body,it holds up the entire body and has a lot of pressure on it,so it is very important to keep the base strong! After a surgery such as a Laminectomy/Discectomy,physical therapy is very important.Make sure you have someone that can help you with daily chores and tasks such as bathing, driving, and any type of lifting for at least two weeks if not more.A CNA can be very helpful if available.
