Well the answer to this question is simple. You have two types of software out there, Business, and regular consumer software. The consumer software like Norton 360, McAfee, and AVG offer little protection even if you have a paid subscription. I went to a clients house the other day and did a scan, it came back with over 432 viruses, low, medium, high, and elevated risks. The customer was shocked that norton wasnt catching these. I was surprised the system still functioned. The fact is...the business software offers far more protection because a business cannot afford to lose the system. Symantech endpoint protection, Mcafee Enterprise, kapersky, and so on, do a superb job at kepping viruses out. My advice is to get a copy of SYMANTEC ENDPOINT PROTECTION.
