Lower than in the states, jajaja! We live in paradise we may not gain much per month but things are cheaper here. I cant really tell u numbers a tshirt in the states is 19.99 here it may be 150pesos which is 4.29 US$. Cars here are really expensive though but you see SUVs lined up everywhere. Gasoine is at 200 pesos per galon that's about 5.71US$ Plus if you buy a piece of land that piece of land is yours and you don't have to be paying taxes on it. I really cant tell you the price of the houses because it would really vary depending on where you want to live.
Much cheaper than the U.S. Salaries are far less, currently a doctor in D.R makes about 30k pesos a month..little less than 1k U.S. As usual prices are scaled roughly to the salary earned by natives. $3,000 a month would enable you to live in D.R in a very nice neighborhood with a maid...a bit beyond the equal of upper middle class in the U.S
