Best Answer

It is published by the International Ozone Association, is easily locatable via an internet search, and is too lengthy for this venue.

What are the different techniques or the operating principles on which the ozone sensors work?

There are two common types. One uses UV-B (or other less characteristic radiation) absorption, and infers ozone concentration from the Beer-Lambert law. Good for measuring ozone in a gas stream. Another uses a compound that is oxidized by ozone, and this reaction causes / enables an electrical current flow. Good for measuring ozone gas in air or a liquid stream. These sensors usually require replacement / refreshment of the liquid in the cell, more frequent calibration, and are usually not ion specific to ozone (chlorine will also be indicated) so variable water quality can make calibration a problem.

Has any one died from ozone exposure?

A patient was killed by a quack in a procedure called "insufflation", where ozone gas tubing was snaked into one of the patient's nether orifices, and the ozone gas ruptured them internally. The ozone itself did not kill them, the idiot that left the patient unattended did. I don't know of any industrial accidents in which people were killed by exposure to ozone. A number of people die on "ozone action days", when ozone inflames / triggers asthma symptoms, and the asthma stops their breathing... Bacteria and viruses have died by the quintillions over the years, and human white blood cells also keep making it to do the same...

How is ozone in the stratosphere the same as the troposphere?

No. The ozone is stratosphere is good ozone. The ozone in troposphere is bad ozone.

What cause troposphereic ozone?

The tropospheric ozone is bad ozone. It acts as a pollutant.

What gas molecule found in Earths atmosphere is made up of three oxygen atoms?

You are thinking of ozone.

What percent of ozone do you find in the stratosphere where the ozone layer is found?

Most of the ozone is found there. The ozone present there is good ozone.

What is the difference between stratospheric ozone and photochemical ozone?

Stratosphere ozone is good ozone. Photo chemical ozone is pollutant.

What is interfering with the ozone layer?

The ozone depleting substances are interfering with ozone. They destroy the ozone.

Detailed information about the causes behind air pollution?

Air pollution is caused when too much oxygen is emmitted into the air. This damages the ozone layer and is thought to be the reason of the hole in the ozone layer. The ozone layer protects us from the sun's harmfull rays. If air pollution continues at this rate, we might see a large skin cancer epidemic in the future. Oxygen is mostly emmited through cars.

What is the formed of ozone layer?

Ozone layer is formed of ozone. It is a gas.

What is destroying the stratospheric ozone?

Stratospheric ozone forms the ozone layer. Destroying it is ozone depletion.
