The honest answer is I don't know! But The Anglican Church holds to the Revelation of Christ , [as recorded in Acts]. Holy Scripture and the Seven Ecumenical Councils. They hold to the Three Catholic Creeds and the apostolic succession as taught by Christ to the apostles and by them to the College of Bishops.
Regarding the Lady Mary, the 1st, Council of Ephesus Defined her as The Theotokos,i.e The Mother of God!
The 2nd, Council of Constantinople , Twice referred to her as Ever Virgin!
Whilst the the Seventh Council Defined Mary as Spotless and Immaculate!
We do not support the Roman Teaching of the Immaculate Conception.
