Sometimes.... NOTHING! Bottled water is often just plain tap water.
Tap water can contain chlorine, lead, pesticides, hormones, drug residue from hospitals throwing old meds down the drain, and who knows what else.
Bottled water that is processed by reverse osmosis creates "dead water", void of essential minerals, is acidic when tested with pH testers, and has a high ORP (Oxygen Reduction Potential), which means that if you drink it you are reducing the oxygen in your body.
Tap water has lots of bacteria. Though it does have chlorine in it to help kill germs and bacteria, it doesn't get it all and chlorine isn't good for you either!
Bottle water (like Aquafina. I'm not sure if all bottled water purifies their water first) is naturally purified with kind of a machine. It doesn't use any chlorine, etc, to get rid of germs.
Bottled water is tap water, naturally purified (without using chemicals) to get rid of almost all of the germs and bacteria.
Bottle water/Purified water is much healthier and cleaner. Personally I can't stand the taste of Tap water, it's so gross. But purified water is amazing and how it's supposed to be like!
TIP: You can make your own purified water at home. That's what I do. I have a little, tiny machine that connects to my sink and has a little hose-like tube. It goes out the sink into the tub, into the purifier, and then out the little tube into your water jug etc
TIP #2: You can also go to some supermarkets/stores like (some) Walmarts and probably others where you can pay to get purified water with a special thing in it that is healthy for you, etc.
Bottle water is tap water, naturally purified (without using chemicals that can hurt you) to get rid of almost/all of the germs and bacteria.
I watched a video and it says everybody who thinks bottle water is cleaner, I think that answer is wrong. Tap water is way better!
tap water...
Actually tap water is more regulated and pure than bottled water
Depends on what company you're comparing tap water to. But most bottled water companies use filtered water (the same as tap water). In most cases bottled water is not purer than tap water. Note that tap water is not the same everywhere, not are all brands of bottled water the same. But legal requirements for water purity are the same for tap water as for bottled water. In some cases, bottled water actually is tap water, that has simply been taken from the tap and put into bottles.
you can tap tap
That depends on where you live in the world - In Norway tap water is completely harmless, however in places like London it can make you seriously ill. So I recommend bottled water for the most parts.
The benefits of bottled water over tap water are it does not have that metallic taste which can be found from tap water, high health and safety standards are associated with bottled water to ensure it is free of contaminants.
No bottled water is just tap water in a bottle they just try to rip you of and it works
NO!!! bottled water costs so much more than tap!
tap from a whell
That depends if the tap water is filtered or not. Bottled water is filtered, and some tap water isn't, but if the tap water is filtered, then both kinds of water are the same healthiness to plants.
It's about the same. Most bottled water IS tap water, so any chemicals and weird stuff in tap water are in bottled water too.
Bottled water that is purified would be best.
