Actually this value depends on the season and on the car. In the previous season 2010 the top cars (Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren) had top speeds in excess of 320 kmph. The midfield cars were a bit slower than this and the tail end teams (new teams) like Hispania, lotus and virgin were much slower and were around 300 kmph range.
The average speed of a formula 1 car is way over 190-223 mph.
Over 320kph or 200mph
During races they reach a top speed of around 190 mph. Honda set the speed record at 257 mph in a fully legal car set up for speed on a straight road.
It has a tested top speed of 355kph (221mph)
around 240 to 250 mph
The car in the picture is a Bugatti Veryron. Top speed = 254.04 mph
A Formula 1 car reaches approx 210mph during a race. This top speed is limited by the large amount of downforce (2 tons) applied. I have seen footage of a car doing 265mph.
Its top speed was 21 knots, so they could determine the exact time it would arrive at its destination.
The average car had a top speed of around 125 to 130 mph.
The top speed was 7mph
The top speed is approximately Mach 3.5. To be exact its top speed Mach3.2. is cruising speed is less than that. It is basicly three times the speed of sound.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 has a top speed of 217 MPH.
