Use what i call "P.E.E" paragraphs. In each paragraph, the 'P' stands for 'Point' this is where you give some information about what you want to say about a certain part of the text.

For example: In chapter 3 the writer uses strong adjectives to create tension.

This should incude a page reference so people can find it themselves.

'E' stands for evidence. The evidence, is a quote taken directly from the text. Remember to put it in speach marks "___"

'E' stands for explanation. This is where you uses the evidence to prove the point. Usually you would explain the effect this has on the reader, for instance the emotions that are experienced. In the explanation, you should take some words out of the quote and analyse the word and the effect that its use has.

A summary of a short story could follow a format where you briefly introduce the main character or setting, outline the key events of the plot, and describe how the story resolves. This format should capture the essence of the story while avoiding unnecessary details.
