the first people to sit on the back of a horse were stoneage people. They saw horses as things to get around on as well as eat. Horses were a form of transport by pulling and carrying things and people. They were also used as farm animals for ploughing feilds. If it wasn't for horses transport wouldn't be here right now. This is why i think horses should be respected for who and what they are, and not be used as meat. I know they were used for meat hundreds of years ago. If it wasn't for horses we wouldn't have very easily found different places far away. They should just be respected for bringing us through billions of years and be kept as pets and riding animals.
