∙ 11y agoThere are several sects including shia, sunni, quraniyoon, ibadi, ahmadiyya and sufi. Islam as a best way for living a life is prescribed by the creator Himself from day one of creation of first human, Adam (peace upon him). It is strictly prohibited for those who claim to be follower of this religion to have themselves separated in sections other than for something good (distribution of responsibilities for example). However unfortunately, on difference of opinion, later getting shape of a conflict results in having some people separated in different groups who can no more digest anything being done by other one. People who are not involved in such conflicts, mostly name each group according to what any of them strongly believe in.
There differences are due to the fact that those people strongly believe in the principles of
- What I believe is the most true
- What my elders have done is the most perfect I must follow exactly
- There is only one possible path as a solution for every problem
- What I understand can also be copied exactly to others understanding.
