This large park is situated in the downtown area and covers space on both the North and South banks of the Spokane river, as well as a sizeable island in the middle. The park features many paths, the historic Loof Carrousel, views of the Spokane Falls from several suspension bridges and a gondola, an outdoor ice skating arena, an IMAX theater, a clocktower, and the infamous "suction goat" trash receptacle. This park was the home of the 1974 World's Fair. Both Riverfront Park and Manito Park are famous, but Riverfront is probably Spokane's most famous park.
