There is no specific name for a senior army officer.
An officer who is senior (higher) in rank/grade is addressed as Sir or Ma'am or by their rank. This applies to any grade officer, e.g., all personnel junior in rank to a captain (O3) address the captain as Sir, Ma'am, or Captain.
Based on age and typical years of service, grades O6-O10 and perhaps O5 would be considered as senior officers.
