Caerphilly Castle, in the town of Caerphillywhich is infact the largest of the two castle's. i wish the government would restore to its former glory. and technically. you could class it as the longest because there is a tunnel underneath which stretches from the castle up to van mansion on the mountain.

It's difficult to know precisely the smallest castle in Wales, since many have been damaged or vanished over the years. However, Cwm Camlais - also known as Camlais, Mescar, Blaencamlais, or Defynoch castle, was one of the smaller castles ever to be built in Wales. Very little of its structure now remains and the history of CWM Camlais is uncertain.

infact the 2nd largest in the UK is caerphilly. which is the earliest concentric castle to still be standing. it would probably be bigger than windsor if its outer walls hadn't been removed during the coal mining years.

The castle in the city centre is Cardiff Castle, or (in Welsh) Castell Caerdydd. One mile north of Cardiff near Tongwynlais, is Castle Coch, or (in Welsh) Castell Coch.

I would say Caernarvon (can-arv-on) castle in Northern Wales built by King Edward I and was still defended when it was half built with very few guards.
