Shalwar kameez is the traditional dress for pakistani women.
The dress a Muslim woman wears is called either an abaya or a jilbab. This dress is a floor length dress, traditionally with long sleeves. The hijab is a scarf that covers the hair, neck and chest of a woman. A burqa covers the woman's entire face--including a gauze patch to cover the eyes. The burqais often confused with the niqab, which is a garment shorter than the burqa, but without the panel covering the eyes. In other words, the niqab allows for a woman's eyes to be revealed, but covers the rest of her face, hair and neck.
