Without giving too much away, 'Mockingjay', the third and final book of The Hunger Games trilogy is about Katniss' struggles with the rebels and the Capitol, and her relationships with Gale and Peeta. She fights for the Districts, but at what sacrifice? As the symbol of the rebellion, Katniss is finally forced to choose between the two boys that she cares about, must decide who to trust, and must deal with being like a pawn in a battle outside of the arena. As she travels to the Capitol in her thirst for revenge against President Snow, she must face many more dangers and somehow emerge from the flames of the destruction around her to hopefully end the war.

Its a black book with a mockingjay pin on it.
In the book it represents defiance against the capitol.
When Madge gifts it to her before she goes to the hunger games.
In the first novel, Katniss is nicknamed "The girl on fire", relating to her chariot costume and interview dress. In the final book, Mockingjay, she is represented as the Mockingjay, for various reasons found in the second and third book.
There are no games in Mockingjay...
Madge, Katniss's friend, gives the mockingjay pin to Katniss as a token for her to carry in the Arena. It also appeared as her token in the Quarter Quell that Katniss is in, her second Hunger Games. It becomes the national symbol, in the Capitol a fashion symbol, in the Districts a symbol of rebellion.
