I believe the most common question asked was "What does the inside of the Temple look like?"
To answer this, the a scale cut-out model of the Temple has been created and placed in theSouth Visitor's Center. Itdisplays exactly what the inside of the Temple looks like, with interactive video screens describing the purpose of each room.
I believe now the most common questions are similar to"Who is allowed inside?" or "What does someone have to do to get inside?" Questions about how the temple was built and how long it took to build it are also common.

Yes. Every building on and around Temple Square is open for public tours daily, except for the Temple and the Church Administration Building. The buildings that are open to the public are: Tabernacle (which also hosts public concerts and events several days a week) Conference Center Assembly Hall Relief Society Building Joseph Smith Memorial Building Church Office Building North Visitors Center South Visitors Center Church History Library Museum of Church History and Art Family History Library The Beehive House (Brigham Young's home) The Lion House The Temple is open only to practicing Mormons who have recieved a special reccomendation from their Bishop. For those interested, there is an accurate scale model and virtual tour of the Temple located in the South Visitors Center. The Temple is not open to the public both because of it's holy nature and because it is used six days a week for sacred worship services continuously from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., which tours would interrupt. The Administration Building contains the offices of the top international leaders of the Church. It contains only private offices and is therefore not open for tours.
