Honey is the only food that does not spoil, it has been found in Egyptian tombs thousands of years old and once heated up is edible.

Actually, in order not to spoil, honey has to be properly packaged and stored away from heat, light and moisture. It can indeed spoil or ferment or become undesirable to eat.

There are no fresh fruits or vegetables that will never ever ever rot. The only fruits and veggies that might never "rot", would be dried foods that are packaged and stored properly. The flavor and color might degrade, but the food might not actually rot.

Honey is supposedly the only food that does not spoil.

Foods with a very low moisture content will resistspoiling, such as pure sugar, corn syrup, pure fats and dried meats. However, this does not mean the food, such as dried meats, will remain edible.

Honey is the only food that does not spoil. Honey has been found in Egyptian tombs in a crystallized form which when heated in boiling water is perfectly edible though several thousand years old.
