The principle of an electric bulb( thee one with the filament ) is "RESISTANCE "
it works just like a water immersion heater but at higher temperatures.. the filament inside the bulb offers high resistance to electricity or the electrons that try to pass, so due to high resistance proportionally high heat is produced (principle of immersion water heater), but how does it glow? have you seen how they make swords and metal items at a blacksmith the metal will actually glow red and then orange and turn to normal, and even sometimes molten hot metal look orange in colour, because, metals when overheated they emit light, and in our case of a electric bulb also the filament gets heated up and glows, and why use tungsten? why not any other metal? because tungsten has a melting point if about 3300 degrees celcius, that is way too high, so when the metal is heated to very high temperatures it does not break but emits light and also generates a lot of heat, that's why when you try to touch an incandescent bulb which has been burning for a long time it burns your fingers on contact, it will be hot, very hot. why do you think all over the world people are trying to get incandescent bulbs banned? it dissipates so much heat, 90% of electrical energy supplied to the bulb is turned into heat, that's why if you have a bulb lighting a closed fish tank the surface of the water feels warm!
the basic principle of welding is 1. first we have some broken material 2. a welder 3. welder should know how to weld
Counting, using the binary system. Logic 1 and 0 representing electric current on and off.
A torch consist of a plastic casing,a bulb ,electric cells. a slide switch and a reflector. Firstly complete the circuit and then put two electric cells or batteries into the plastic case.when you close the switch the circuit will be complete and the bulb will glow. The reflector will pass the light too the big distance and and lighten the distance upto where the light the goes.
To provide the electric potential difference required to get a current flowing through the bulb and the torch to produce light.
A filament bulb resistor is the common type of light bulb. It contain a thin coil wire called filament. It produces light as a result. It is made mainly from the element tungsten. The metle tungsten has very high melting point and it is a good conductor of electric current
Electricity through a thin wire (filament) makes it glow, which is prevented from burning through the wire by gas inside the bulb.
a bulb is light bulb
Three parts of an electric bulb might include the filament, the actual bulb, and the base.
piezo electric principle
The electric light bulb came first but was patented later that the telephone was.
Evaporation causes cooling.
It depends on the type of bulb.
The electric light bulb was invented in 1879.
do not touch alighted electric bulb conncted to the main
It has to do with certain chemicals in the bulb that are made into color when the bulb is turned on.
it look's like a mini light bulb and you usally use them in an electric circuit
By whatever do you mean? I mentioned an electric bulb the other day when mine went out. Shoot, you just mentioned it in your Question. Though Thomas Edison built the first working electric light bulb.
