It can cause the person being bullied to take their life away because they can't take it anymore. People only talk about the negative side to bullying but they never mention the positives. Yes, there are positives. By being bullied it teaches you about real life and how not everyone is your friend. In real life people many people won't like you or they will make you feel less.
If you are doing something on bullying you should really know that the common believe that most often bullies are insecure and bully to make themselves feel better is false. Most bullies are quite self-confident and score low on empathy tests. Bullies like to feel superior and cannot control their emotions. They are people who can easily make friends and have excellent leadership skills. They like friend who are followers and do as they are told.
One of the reasons behind bullying is their background. Kids who have families who don't show many emotions or whose parents are very strict with them often want to bully another to make them feel superior. This does not mean they are insecure this just means that the same authority shown at home they want to replicate with other.
