it is law within the EU that all ingredients are displayed on packaging in order of size i.e the largest ingredient 1st and so on down to the smallest. Must also list ingredients in order to advise consumers who have certain Allergies eg nut allergy that can kill, also for nutritional value
It is helpful because if there is something hareful to you and not necisserly to other people then if you eat it you can get ill or even die. It is a big caution to yours or another persons life. It is VERY important to read food lables and ingredients. :)
For health reasons, some people may be allergic to some of the ingredients and so that one product can be compared to a similar one. The ingredients are listed in order of their amount in the product. First ingredient is the biggest percentage. This lets you compare to see if you are getting what you are paying for or just getting a cheaper filler of some sort.
My gosh it is the label on the food product that you purchase
Name, in alphabetical order.
The ingredients list tells what is used to make the food.
No one knows for sure, but the list of ingredients on the label will tell you what is supposed to be in it.

The best place to find a list of calories present in the food you eat is on the back of the label. The "Nutrition Facts" can typically tell you the amount of good and bad calories that are present in the food you are eating. You can also check the food production website for information like this.

Yeast used in baking and brewing are a strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It's not likely that a food label will list it that way. It may just say "yeast" or perhaps "brewers yeast" or "bakers yeast."
