The structure of a story is where you plan out a story like the beginning middle and end. In a story there is always the beginning where you are introduced to the character and the surroundings etc. In the middle is where the "conflict" starts (or where the interesting bit starts) then it reaches a climax and then at the end of the story is where it all "calmed down" and back to normal. its structure is the body of the writing....what makes it up.... in english: the paragraphs...basically....the real story the writing...not the verbiage ..verbiage is literally word garbage....un-needed words....

Another Answer

The structure is the form and format of the piece being written. The structure is the organization. For examples: Act I, Act II, Act III; the beginning, the middle, the end; the executive overview, the introduction, the content, the conclusions, the index, and so forth.

Structure always considers the reader first. Who will read it and why? How will the information be used?
