The Quran, the word of God says:

There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (2:256)

Muslims are commanded to believe in all God's prophets and in all of God's holy books and to accept and respect all other religions, cultures, and races.

The Quran says (In English translation):

"There is no compulsion in religion..." (Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 256)

This statement above is supported by another Quran saying (in English translation):

"...If God had willed, He would have made you all in one nation and one religion), but that He (God) left you in different religions to compete in good deeds and society benefits. The return of all of you is to God; then He (God) will inform you about that in which you differ" (Quran, Chapter 5, Verse 48)
