Although the government ha undertaken a massive effort to modernise the economic infrastructures of the country, the economy is still rural and relying on ancient belgian models which are out of touch with the modern economy. The changes made so far are very encouraging and are pushing Rwanda into the 21st century. These change area a clear distinction from the rest of the neighbouring countries with a more dire state of affairs
