One cent. It's not a US Mint product. In the years following JFK's death a lot of companies took ordinary cents and used metal punches to stamp his image on the coins, then sell them as "commemoratives".
In reality they're considered to be altered coins and novelty items with no added value to a coin collector.
If you have a normal Lincoln cent with a small picture of JFK on it, it's a novelty item made by punching his picture onto a genuine coin. The date was obviously chosen because that was the year of his assassination.Loads of these items were sold as keepsakes. If it's still attached to its original cardboard holder it might be worth a dollar or two, mostly for the holder and not the coin. If you got it in change it's considered to be an altered coin and has no extra value except as a curiosity.
....1 cent.
No 1963 Kennedy half dollars exist. 1963 is the last year of the Franklin half dollar. 1964 is the first year for Kennedy.
sadly their is no addec value so its worth 1 penny
A Penny!or a melt value of 1.6723738129 as of 7:41 October 14, 2009 where as the melt value of a penny of 1963-1982 is 1.6642174575
There seems to be some confusion here. Kennedy is on the half dollar, while Lincoln is on the penny. A 1974 Kennedy half is worth 50 cents. A '74 Lincoln cent is worth 2 cents for its copper content.
