There are a huge amount of things to see:
Stars
Moons
Asteroids
Meteors
Planets
Galaxies
Comets
Nebulae
Satellites
Spacecraft
Fireballs
Rings around planets
Quasars.
All of these and much more can be seen. There are unusual occurrences, like eclipses, transitions and occultations. A transition is when a planet passes in front of the sun, like the Venus transition in 2004. An occultation is when a planet or the moon, moves in front of another object like a star or a planet and blocks its light. There are always interesting things to see in space.
