The density of the Earth can be estimated by observing the time that seismic waves take to travel through it. Waves travel faster through denser objects leading to the conclusions that the Earth is density stratified with the most dense material at the center. The change in velocity of the seismic waves gives an estimate of the density of the material that it is traveling through. Knowing the depth of these composition changes allows us to calculate the volume of each particular compositional "shell" and a weighted average of these will give an estimate of the Earth's density.

The density increases
246 metric units.
Hydrometer measure the density of liquids.
Density is a measure of how tightly the matter within it is packed together.
Hydrometer is used in batteries to measure density. A float tells you the density using displacement.
How is Mercury's density is about high as the earths density
It is not used for this.A hydrometer is an instrument used to measure the specific gravity (or relative density) of liquids, NOT rock.To measure the density of a rock you weigh a piece of it in air, then measure the volume of water it displaces in a measuring jug.Density = mass/volume.
Graphing is used in measuring density. It plots the temperature and density as read, and gives the true density at standard conditions.

A hydrometer can be used to find the specific gravity (relative density) of a liquid by determining how much water it will displace. Various calibrations are used for different kinds of liquids.
density -------- Graduated cyllinders are used to measure volumes of liquids, powders or fine granules.
So they can determine the density of a substance. Density = mass/volume. Density can be used to identify a substance.
A densitometer is used in photographic work measure the optical density of a photograph. It can be used to measure both reflective and transparent material.
== == The average density of the planet Earth is 5.52 (Standardized Result 5.52 g/cm3) the density of core of earth is 8 g/cm3
