Your back bone is also known as the spine which is made up of 33 vertebrae, the sacrum, intervertebral discs, and the coccyx. There are three sections of vertebrae known as the; the cervical vertebrae (neck), the thoracic vertebrae (middle back) and the lumbar vertebrae (lower back).
Assuming you mean vertebrae; The human spine is made up of 33 vertebrae (Sungular: vertebra.) There are four sections of vertebrae. The cervical vertebrae is is made up of 7 vertebrae and makes up the neck. The thoracic vertebrae makes up the upper back and contains 12 vertebrae. the lumbar vertebrae area makes up the lower back between the thoracic vetrtabrae and the sacral curve, made up of 5 vertebrae. Lastly, The tailbone area is below the lumbar section and called the sacral curve. 5 vertebrae make up the sacrum and 4 are fused to make the tailbone. All vertebrae but the sacral curve section are separated by invertebral discs.
It is made up of your vertebrae column.your vertebrae is your spine, aka your back bone....
You would call it a neck bone, I suppose, but the "Neck Bone" has many other bones with it. Though it is all made up as the Cervical vertebrae
I'm assuming you mean the spine - The highest 7 vertebrae make up the cervical spine (or C spine) = the neck The next 12 vertebrae (where your ribs attach) make up the thoracic spine (or T spine) - this can also be referred to as the dorsal spine The next 5 vertebrae down make up the lumbar spine (or L spine) = the lower back And the sacrum is the very bottom of the spine made of 5 fused vertebrae.
The spine is made up of vertebrae.
because their neck vertebrae are s shaped.
The vertebrae in the neck are called cervicle vertebrae. There are 6 of them altogether. The first two (going downward from the skull) are called the atlas and the axis. The rest are just name by their order. Eg: C1 (Atlas), C2 (Axis), C3, C4.....
Mammals are vertebrates and like all vertebrates have only one back bone . Back bone is made up of vertebrae .
vertebrae allows flexibility to our back so we can move up,down etc
You back bone refers to the spinal column in the human skeleton. The spine is made up of 24 vertebrae and can be divided into three parts: the Cervical spine (top), the thoracic spine (middle) and the lumbar (lower back).
The vertebrae. There are 7 in the neck (cervical), 12 in the thorax (chest), and 5 in the lower back (lumbar). The wedge shaped bone in the back of the pelvis (the sacrum) is composed of 5 fused vertebrae and the the coccyx (or "tail bone") has 3-5 vertebrae.
